James is responsible for the strategic direction and overall operations of Bridge. He has over 30 years of experience in the IT staffing market. Prior to founding Bridge in 2002 James spent thirteen years working within Silicon Valley’s tech industry. James has been published and quoted extensively on the employment industry, recruiting, and the state of the job market. He has a BA from Vassar College and his MA from San Francisco State University. He currently serves on the boards of BankNewport and the Rhode Island Foundation. James lives in Jamestown with his wife, daughter, and twin boys.

Scott oversees the sales and recruiting efforts at Bridge, where he’s built and manages the core teams that service our clients. Scott joined Bridge in 2012 as an Account Executive and quickly took on more responsibilities: He became Bridge’s first territory manager, taking on responsibility for CT before being promoted to the sales manager for the entire company. In 2017 he was promoted to become Bridge’s first Vice President.

Prior to Bridge, Scott started his career in lending before transitioning to one of his great passions—technology. Spending several years at a national technology company, Scott mastered his knowledge of the IT solutions space and crafted his ability to solve critical business problems for his clients. Scott’s commitment to the community is reflected in his serving as the Bridge liaison to Junior Achievement, the team lead for our annual food drive, a membership volunteer for Rhode Island’s Tech Collective, and is a past officer of the Staffing Management Association of Southern New England. In his free time Scott enjoys traveling, outdoorsmanship, and spending time with family and friends.

In the Community

Giving back is an integral part of the company culture here at Bridge. Employees are encouraged to make charitable contributions through company match-back and are also granted hours per month where they can be compensated for volunteer work. 

You can catch the Bridge team participating in the Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon, donating to Rhode Island’s Food Bank, speaking with the next generation at University of Rhode Island’s career fair, and hosting our annual e-waste drive. Our team also dedicates time to researching and presenting at Rhode Island’s Tech Collective in an effort to develop programs for IT professionals to enhance their skills.
